Normally, I watch every Apple event. I didn’t watch this one. The iPhones and Watches have become rather predictable. I do like the new Apple Watch Ultra, but I also remember Apple saying they wouldn’t do exactly what they now do where there’s a Watch every year.
Personally, I was hoping for a one more thing and the unveiling of the vaporware Mac Pro with Apple Silicon.
Yeah, I suppose that's the thing with Apple -- and I suppose Microsoft too... maybe even all of these big companies. Just because they say they won't do a thing doesn't mean that's actually what they will do. Remember when Satya said that Windows 10 was going to be the last version of Windows? I mean I can appreciate the iterative model as a consumer, but it does leave us feeling kind of "meh" about stuff.
And yes, there should always be a "One more thing" at these presentations. I also hope they go back to in person presentations. The crowd factors make these things feel like it's not actually just one big commercial even though that's essentially all it is.
