As I’ve stated before, I was a huge Command & Conquer fan growing up. I recently went back through and beat the original C&C (read my review here), as well as the original Red Alert — along with their respective expansions — after picking up the remasters and so naturally I wanted to play through the third game in the series; Tiberian Sun. I used to have all three of these games on PC back in the day, but those discs have gone missing over the years. I would love to add them to my newly established big box collection, but those games have gotten quite expensive. So, I took to Steam and what I found was pretty awesome.
Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection Bundle
It’s all the games along with all of their expansions. 17 games in total, and it’s currently on sale for $8.00 USD. I want to be clear with you. This isn’t some sort of weird sponsorship or affiliate thing. I’m not getting anything out of it. It’s just a really good deal on a bunch of really fun games and I wanted to share it with all of you. If you're a fan of Command & Conquer, or at least a fan of real-time strategy games, you should grab it. The bundle includes (in chronological order of game release):
Command & Conquer
Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations
Command & Conquer: Red Alert
Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Counterstrike
Command & Conquer: Red Alert: The Aftermath
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun Firestorm
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge
Command & Conquer: Renegade
Command & Conquer: Generals
Command & Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: Kane's Wrath
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Uprising
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
I mean it’s even got the weird and kind of janky FPS spin-off, Renegade and Generals. That is all. Happy hunting everyone!
There used to be a cyber cafe here in Liverpool called StarQuest - and C&C tournaments were a regular fixture. I was always utterly demolished of course, but it was a hell of a lot of fun! Such a fantastic series of games!
